Welcome to Astron Appliances PH. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Astron website located at [www.astron.com.ph] (the "Site"), and any purchase of products or services through it. The Site is owned and operated by G8 Marketing, Inc.

By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from the Site, you ("you," "your," the "customer," or "user") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Definitions

  • "Products" means the appliances, goods, accessories, parts, and related items offered for sale on the Site.
  • "Order" means your request to purchase Products through the Site.
  • "Account" means the registered profile a customer creates to access certain features of the Site.
  • "Content" means all text, images, graphics, logos, videos, product descriptions, and other material on the Site.

2. Eligibility

To purchase from the Site, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Philippine law. By placing an order, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

3. Accounts and Registration

You may need to create an Account to place an Order or access certain features. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • All activity that occurs under your Account; and
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Account that we reasonably believe has been used in breach of these Terms or for any fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive activity.

4. Products, Descriptions, and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to display Products, specifications, colors, and images as accurately as possible. However, actual Products may vary slightly from images shown due to photography, screen settings, or manufacturer updates. Product images are for illustration purposes and are not always to scale.

All Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to:

  • Limit the quantity of any Product ordered;
  • Discontinue any Product at any time; and
  • Reject or cancel an Order where a Product is out of stock, mispriced, or otherwise unavailable. The client will be notified of said changes and refunded should there be unforeseen price changes or events that require cancellation of order.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices, promotions, and discounts may change without prior notice, but changes will not affect Orders we have already accepted.
  • Delivery fees, installation charges, and other costs, where applicable, will be shown before you confirm your Order.
  • We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. By submitting payment details, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

In the event of an obvious pricing error (for example, a Product listed at a clearly incorrect price), we reserve the right to cancel the Order and refund any amount paid, even after Order confirmation.

6. Orders and Order Acceptance

Placing an Order is an offer to purchase. Your Order is only accepted once we issue a confirmation (for example, an order confirmation email or notice) and, where applicable, payment has been received. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, stock unavailability, pricing errors, or delivery limitations.

7. Shipping, Delivery, and Installation

  • We deliver to serviceable areas within the Philippines. Delivery coverage, timelines, and fees may vary by location and Product size.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control (for example, weather, force majeure, or courier delays).
  • Risk of loss or damage to a Product passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide.
  • You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery and that the delivery location is accessible. Additional charges may apply for failed deliveries or re-delivery.
  • Where installation is offered, its scope, coverage, and any related fees will be communicated separately.

8. Cancellations, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our returns, refunds, and exchange handling follows the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) and applicable regulations.

  • Cancellations: You may request to cancel if order has not yet been paid.
  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items: If a Product arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with proof (for example, photos and your order number). We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
  • Change-of-mind returns: Change of mind is not accepted for orders made through this website
  • Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days. Delivery or installation fees may be non-refundable except where required by law.

Certain Products may be non-returnable for hygiene, safety, or manufacturer reasons. Any such exclusions will be indicated on the Product page.

9. Warranties

  • Products sold through the Site carry the manufacturer's or Astron's standard warranty, where applicable. Warranty coverage, period, and terms depend on the specific Product.
  • Warranty claims are subject to the conditions stated in the warranty documentation, including proper use, presentation of proof of purchase, and service through authorized Astron service centers or partners.
  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized repair or modification, accidents, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or use inconsistent with the Product's instructions.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines and other applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Intellectual Property

All Content on the Site, including the Astron name, logos, trademarks, product designs, text, graphics, and layout, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any Content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its security;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or another user's Account;
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or misleading content; or
  • Use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Site without permission.

We may restrict or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

12. User-Submitted Content

If you submit reviews, comments, images, or other material to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that material in connection with our business. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, Astron shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any Product, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, including liability under the Consumer Act of the Philippines.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Astron, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, typhoons, power outages, government actions, strikes, pandemics, or courier disruptions.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on the Site with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
